Bildungsmesse Leibnitz: Perspectives for the future of young talents

On October 18, the Leibnitz educational fair took place in the Reinhold-Heidinger sports hall, where the doors opened for young people who are looking for training and career opportunities. This event attracted almost seventy exhibitors from schools, companies and institutions that offered a varied program and converted the fair into a pulsating center of career opportunities.

The fair was a hit among the visitors who not only gained information at the stands, but also had the opportunity to gain practical experience in different professional fields. The high level of participation and the great interest of young people in education and work shows how important such events are in order to offer future specialists orientation.

In addition to the classic hustle and bustle, there was also an exciting supporting program. In cooperation with the Styria Chamber of Commerce and the StVG, special presentations of apprentices from 13 local companies were organized. These gave the interested parties valuable insights into their professional experience and tips on designing the training path. The offer to get first -hand information helped the young people to better understand the possibilities of teaching.

Parents and caregivers could also find out more about the educational landscape. An information evening the day before offered valuable advice to support young people in their professional orientation. The additional offer of free childcare during the fair made it easier for families to experience the event in peace.

Poeners and regional representatives were particularly prominently represented. The chairman of the Southwest Styria region, NR Mayor Joachim Schnabel, spoke about the importance of the educational fair: "This event helps young people to find out about future -proof educational paths and strengthens the visibility of the regional training offers."

Member of the Landtag Mag.a Bernadette Kerschler praised the family -friendly concept of the fair and underlined the valuable input, the parents and young people. Mayor Mag. The educational fair is organized by the municipality of Leibnitz and regional management Südweststeiermark GmbH, supported by the Ams Styria and the Styria Chamber of Commerce. The implementation of the event is funded by the Styrian State Modestian and Regional Development Act.
