A guade view: New viewing site at Seggauberg in Leibnitz opened

In a lively atmosphere, the members of the Landjugend Leibnitz on Seggauberg celebrated the opening of their new viewing site, which was aptly called "A Guade View". Together with numerous guests, including friends, neighbors and residents of the region, this place, which invites you to enjoy the breathtaking view over southern Styria, was officially opened. City pastor Anton Neger, who blessed the place and praised his use as a place of encounter, was one of the guests.

The new viewing place is the result of a one-year planning and implementation process, which was carried out with a committed group of 67 members of the Leibnitz rural youth. Under the active support of the municipality of Leibnitz, an inviting space was created, which was designed with effort and creativity. High -quality benches, a photo point for souvenir photos, a swing and the planting of trees were planned. In addition, a great picture of the southern Styrian wine country was painted on the gable of the former farm, accompanied by a pretty wooden fence that serves as a safety device.

a place of encounter and beauty

"From this viewing place you have a wonderful view of southern Styria and even in clear weather to Slovenia," said chairman Andreas Lobe about the new eye -catcher. The rural youth leader Barbara Holler set a sign of the value of youth participation: "It is wonderful if young people can get involved in their community and show their connection!"

Mayor Michael Schumacher praised the creative design of the square and expressed his thanks to the young people who created a unique space with their commitment and creativity. The carpentry work was carried out by Mathias Refan, a member of the rural youth, while the impressive wall painting by Fiona Sabathi from Tillmitsch.

The project received financial support from the municipality of Leibnitz and grants from the regional youth manager Peter Music as part of the Styrian State Modestian and Regional Development Act. This cooperation shows once again how important community and the commitment of young people are for the region.

The opening was celebrated with a small celebration including chestnuts and storms, in which friendships and the joy of the new design of the Seggauberg came into their own.
