After the opening in December 2023, the burger restaurant "Freigeist" stagnates in Klagenfurt: Managing Director Andreas Hammer has confirmed that the restaurant is temporarily closed. According to Hammer, a new strategy is currently being worked on to revise the concept. The operating company, which has already operated two more "Freigeist" locations in Graz, has so far not published any information about a reopening date, which makes the future of the restaurant uncertain, as well as gastroportal : "With 'Hab it burger', the imperial elegance of the Habsburg meets the retro charm of the American Diner culture of the 60s. “

The restaurant will have 150 m², with space for 60 guests. Not only are the sliders of particular interest here, which give every Habsburg characteristics-such as the "Ferdinand" with beef paty and the "Sissi" with spicy jalapenos. Larger burgers are also offered, supplemented by a selection of refreshing drinks and homemade shakes. The last construction work is currently underway, so that the opening is expected to be planned for the first week of December. The operators already have expansion plans with a franchise system in mind and aim to create a unique taste experience that combines nostalgic elements with high -quality ingredients.
