Rapid escape ends in chaos: passenger injured, driver disappeared!
In the late afternoon and evening, two dramatic traffic accidents occurred in Graz, which, thanks to the rapid use of rescue workers, did not end. Around 5:30 p.m., a police patrol wanted to undergo a Mercedes on the station belt of a traffic control. Instead of stopping, the driver, however, fled over Carinthian Strasse and on to Kapellenstrasse at excessive speed. There, the 20-year-old man lost control of his vehicle, apparently with roots in the Russian Federation and resident in Graz and crashed into a tree. While his 18-year-old passenger, who was apparently not strapped, suffered slight injuries and brought to LKH Graz, the driver left him behind and fled from the scene of the accident on foot. 15 emergency services from the Graz professional fire brigade had to mount the car and secure the accident site.
