Police strikes: 95 ads at dangerous Roadrunner meetings!
In Graz and the surrounding area, there was a huge police operation against the Styrian Roadrunner scene on Saturday evening, after risky driving maneuvers such as drifts, spin movements and wheelies caused a sensation. The police promptly reacted with increased controls and subsequently took up a total of 95 advertisements. Not only five license plates were taken, but also 33 criminal mandates were imposed, which could now have high fines, as kosmo.at
The chaotic scene moved between Gleisdorf, Werndorf and Kalsdorf before it came back to Graz, always in the hope of escaping the police. These risky driving campaigns not only put the participants in danger, but also uninvolved spectators. Such fun ended in wound shoe: there a car collided with an 18-year-old motorcyclist who suffered serious injuries. Colonel Kurt Lassnig from the traffic police described the argument as a "cat and mouse game" and clearly made it clear: "We will not accept this and clearly increase the control pressure", as styria notes.
