Boom! Small van at Klippitztörl overturned - two men injured!

On April 1, 2025, a spectacular traffic accident occurred on the L91, Klippitztörl Straße, in the St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthia. A small van, directed by a 24-year-old man from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district, lost control in a sharp right-hand bend and tipped over to the left side. The van then slipped along the road for about 85 meters on the side, which led to significant traffic disruptions.

Together with a 26-year-old acquaintance from Graz, the driver was in the vehicle. Both men probably only suffered minor injuries in the incident, but were able to get out of the vehicle independently via the passenger door. After the first aid they were transported to the Friesach hospital.

The quick reaction of the emergency services ensured that the situation was handled quickly. The Klein St. Paul police inspection and the volunteer fire brigades from Lölling and Hüttenberg with a total of 16 comrades came to the site. The L91 had to be blocked for all traffic for about two hours, which led to traffic jams in the area.
