Peace light and artistic delights: ARTvent in the Glücksgarten Waldstein
On three festive days in December, the Waldsteiner Glücksgarten is transformed into a magical place full of art and culinary delicacies. From December 13th to 15th, this idyllic location will open its doors to the ARTvent exhibition, which promises a special atmosphere. Used particularly as a wedding location during the summer months, the Glücksgarten attracts visitors in the run-up to Christmas who can look forward to a unique experience.
The atmosphere in the Glücksgarten is characterized by a variety of impressions: from handicrafts to tasty food and contemplative music. Visitors can experience first hand how impressive works of art are created from warm iron through the skilled craftsmanship of blacksmiths. Equally fascinating is the skillful work with a chainsaw to carve beautiful figures out of wood. The special handbags made from truck tarpaulins as well as the hot mulled wine and the sweet waffles round off the experience.
Special activities and raffles
A festive Christmas pack raffle takes place every day at 6 p.m. Guests are invited to come together to enjoy atmospheric music and sing songs while the festively wrapped packages wait for the winners. A fun way to end the evening with a warming drink and enjoy the pre-Christmas spirit.
Another highlight is the impressive ARTvent wreath, which is an impressive piece with its self-cast candles measuring 40 centimeters in diameter. The initiative, which revolves around setting a sign of peace, also highlights the special significance of this event. Visitors are invited to light a candle to illuminate a 4-meter peace star. This action is intended to send a hopeful sign for peace and underline the positive message of “YES” to peace.
The opening hours of the ARTvent exhibition are from Friday to Sunday from 1 p.m. Anyone interested can obtain further information about the Glücksgarten and the event experiences directly from Waldsteiner LebensART e.V., on the telephone number +43 664 2245853 or the e-mail address hoeller@gmx.at.
