Patrick Masser takes over the school management in Groß St. Florian
The middle school in Groß St. Florian is facing a fresh start. With effect from November 1st, Patrick Masser took over the school management after his predecessor, Guntram Kehl, retired. Masser brings a breath of fresh air to school and looks forward to this challenge. "I'm really looking forward to this new task," he explains.
Patrick Masser, who is a teacher of German, geography and business studies, has been taught at the Dobl private middle school since 2013. During this time he was able to gain extensive experience in innovative teaching methods such as "open learning". His contact with Guntram Kehl began a year ago that prepared him step by step for this new responsibility.
a familiar place
For Masser, the return to Groß St. Florian has a special meaning. "It was a life dream for me to return to Groß St. Florian," he says, referring to his school days in the community from 1997 to 2001. His roots in the region are deeply anchored because his father was previously chairman of the local football club.
Masser is very enthusiastic about sports in his free time. He trains his son's U10 team in Kettmannstätten and likes to be active in football, running and skiing. "The sporting facilities such as the tennis and soccer field and the athletics facility near the school offer the ideal basis for sporting focus," continued the new headmaster.
visions for the future
The goal of Masser is to lead a school in which everyone involved - both students and teachers - deal with each other at eye level. "I would like to create an environment in which children and young people and all employees experience a positive learning and working atmosphere," he explains his ambitions for the coming years. His vision is clear: a school that is not only a place of learning, but also of well -being.
Patrick's committed attitude and his connection to the region give hope that the middle school in Groß St. Florian will continue to grow and thrive under his direction. More information on this topic can be found in the report www.meinbezirk.at .
