criticism of the housekeeping
Alma Zadić, deputy club chairwoman of the Greens, also critically commented on the lack of government's lack of austerity measures and demands a rethink in relation to state finances. The Corona pandemic caused a billion dollar hole in the state budget as early as 2020, and expenses should not be decreased in the coming years. Agenda Austria reports of the need to strive for a balanced public budget without endangering growth.
The upcoming challenges, including rising costs for care, pensions as well as necessary investments in climate protection and digitization, strengthen the discussion about the financing of the public budget and raise questions about the future tax burden. The pressure on state finances remains high, while the citizens should not be covered with additional financial burdens.
