Summer sensation: Simmeringer bathroom with new hall and outdoor pool pleasure!

The bathing city council of Vienna, Jürgen Czernohorszky, invites the population to visit the city's outdoor pools. A new indoor pool area with a 25 -meter -long sports pool is currently being built in the Simmeringer Bad, which will soon be available. Czernohorszky took the opportunity to visit the progress of this project and announce the upcoming summer months. As early as May and June, there were around 220,000 guests in the Viennese outdoor pools, which further increases the anticipation for the high season. The outdoor pools not only offer recovery options, but also serve as part of the city's heat protection formula, which is coordinated with drinking water, shade -giving green spaces and cooling options through the bathrooms. Over 1,000 parks and 1,600 public drinking wells are also freely accessible in Vienna and contribute to improving the quality of life.

Vienna has a total of 38 public bathing locations, and Czernohorszky emphasizes that affordable access to outdoor pools is an important part of the social offer in the city. As part of the 2030 bathing strategy, four new swimming pools and an additional indoor pool are planned. For example, a swimming pool in the large field settlement will soon be opened. The work on the new hall in the Simmeringer Bad is in progress, while the roof renovation in the Döblinger Bad begins in September and the new swimming pool in the Höpflerbad starts. The Floridsdorfer Bad will be reopened on September 8 after extensive energy savings.
