Ebensee, Österreich - skiing at Feuerkogel in Ebensee, Gmunden district, is becoming more and more expensive for many families. The fee for popular parking spaces, especially for the Trauneck parking lot, is new. If no ticket is solved, penalties threaten up to 70 euros. While a day ticket only costs eight euros for the slopes, many visitors overlook the new payment requirements, since the parking spaces have been free of charge in the past. Complaints are piling up in the Upper Austria cable car holding, which is not responsible for the fees - this decision lies with the municipality, as Mayor Sabine Promberger (SPÖ) explained and thereby pointed out the need for parking management, as well as today was reported.

Mayor Promberger promised to look for a "friendly solution" for those who were already receiving a parking ticket on Saturday, since not all car drivers were apparently aware of the new regulations. In the future, the existing signs and additional information should provide more clarity in order to avoid further uncomfortable. Even if the obligation to pay fees is not canceled, the municipality aims to reduce misunderstandings and create a better understanding of the new regulation.
