The Salzburg Aid Agency recently celebrated an important anniversary: ten years of assisted living in Hollersbach. This facility, which opened in October 2014, has now become an important point of contact for senior citizens. The anniversary was duly celebrated with a festive event in which the residents, the community and the relief organization themselves took part.

"In Hollersbach, a small, fine unit was created 10 years ago with foresight, which perfectly complements the existing offer in the village," explained Elke Schmiderer, regional management Pinzgau of the Salzburg Aid Authority. The support of the aid organization is regularly present in the house. Every Wednesday there is a local social care specialist to discuss current topics and clarify organizational questions. The club president of the Salzburg aid organization, Christian Stuber, has noticed the growing popularity of assisted living in recent years. The possibility of independence and the feeling of the community are very important here. There are also numerous activities such as discussions, celebrations and excursions that promote social interaction.

The location of the apartments is another plus. The immediate proximity to medical practices, pharmacies, supermarkets and the church enables residents to be mobile even without a car.
