Hope by community: Students help family Gruber in need
in Oberalm and Rußbach, the life of the Gruber family has changed from drastically. Wolfgang and Sabine Gruber had fulfilled their dream of their own farm and were full of confidence when they bought the old farm to prepare it according to their ideas. But a serious accident shaken their plans: Wolfgang accidentally accidentally in the courtyard and fell seven meters deep, which led to serious vertebral injuries. These injuries now make it impossible for him to manage the farm as planned. Sabine is now facing the difficult task of cultivating her husband and looking after the farm and her son.
From this tragic story, students from the Winklhof Agricultural School heard and immediately felt motivated to help the Gruber family. The upcoming holidays moved the pupils to make an Advent wreath to give the family a little bright spot. They quickly came up with the idea of binding not only one but several advent wreaths and supporting the proceeds.
aid campaign of the students
The students began to collect fir branches and other green stuff, and after the autumn holidays, was hard -working and decorated. So far, they have already sold more than 100 wreaths, but their resources are now almost finished. Nevertheless, the goal of help remains in the top priority, which is why they ask for further support from the community. The money is to be used to help the Gruber family in this difficult time.
There are also some direct challenges that the Grubers have to cope with: the farm is old, the farmhouse urgently needs renovations, and the sanitary facilities are not handicapped accessible. Measures are currently underway to adapt the structural conditions to Wolfgang's needs.
The students want to appeal to all readers to support the campaign by donating money. For this purpose, three pleasure kisterl are raffled off from the agricultural school under all donations. "Together we are strong and can give hope to the family," says their call.
