But not only the pensioners are affected. The unemployed and recipients of emergency aid are also noticed. In addition, there is the abolition of the supply for unemployment benefit and emergency aid on the agenda. According to "today", this could lead to the fact that 82.5 million euros can be saved annually. So far, it was possible for 28,000 unemployed and 34,000 emergency aid recipients to achieve an additional income up to the minor limit without being reduced. With the new regulations you have to expect additional earnings to be deducted from your support.

The effects of the new austerity measures are drastic. On average, women with a gross pension of 1,400 euros per month lose EUR 12.60 net, which means a loss of 175 euros annually. Men in turn, the average pension of which is 2,374 euros, must expect a loss of 193 euros annually. The older retirees who receive top pensions are even harder: with a net amount of 4,000 euros, women lose around 8,630 euros over their entire pension, men around 5,394 euros.

These measures are part of a comprehensive government savings plan to renovate the budget, which is to be relieved over the next seven years by a total of over 18 billion euros, as "today" analyzed. The pressure on pensioners and socially weaker is growing, while at the same time the upheavals in the political landscape are visible.
