With 24 missions, including five goals and seven templates in the 2019/20 season, he was able to support Rapid Vienna's reserve team in promoting the second highest division.

Before moving to FC Ingolstadt in July 2022, Kanuric played for Arminia Bielefeld, where he stood on the pitch twelve times and scored a goal.
