Austria's Foreign Minister for Ukraine: more help required!
Austria's Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger has urgently confirmed the solidarity of her country with Ukraine. During her recent visit to Kiev, where she met with her Ukrainian counterpart Andrij Sybiha, she described how Austria \ “since day one of the brutal Russian aggression \”. In a special step, Meinl-Reisinger announced that Austria provides two million euros to buy grain from Ukraine to support poor countries in the Middle East.

These developments come at a critical time, since the EU foreign representative Kaja Kallas urges up to 40 billion euros for Ukraine as far as the entire region is concerned. Austria also plans humanitarian support for Syria in the amount of 19.3 million euros to combat the humanitarian crisis caused by long years of civil war.
