On November 16, 2024, a very special event took place in Weißkirchen: The Perchtenverein Weißkirchner Auteufeln invited to the premiere of his new Perchten show. This event attracts many visitors every year, and this year it was no different. The spectators were enthusiastic about the fantastic performances, which were presented both by the members of the association and three guest groups, the Kremstaler Castle, the Wallerner Trattnacheufel and the "Schocha Pass".

The performance kidnapped those present with impressive masks and fearsome costumes into a fascinating world full of mysticism and adventure. It was the ninth time that the Perchten offered the viewers such an impressive evening. The crackling fire gave the event a special atmosphere that captivated the audience until the last moment. When applause at the end of the performance, the enthusiasm was noticeable, which underlined the success of the new show.

Advent market creates a festive mood

In addition to the spectacular show, the club also organized a small Advent market. This offered a cozy atmosphere with stands where traditional delicacies as well as hot punch and glowmost were sold. This offer created a harmonious mood for the upcoming holidays and made the event an all-round experience for visitors.

chairman Manfred Krennmair commented on the event and emphasized the importance of not only offering an impressive show, but also giving the audience the opportunity to linger in a festive environment. With a total of 89 members, the association is one of the largest in the region. In addition to the eerie Perchten, the association also includes characters such as wolves, the Neckische Hobagoass, witches, good Engerl and children. This diversity contributes to the special aura of the association.

For the coming year 2025 there is a big anniversary. The association is ten years old and there are many innovations and surprises planned that will provide additional tension.
