Enjoyment and creativity: cake and creative fair conquers Wels!
An exciting event is coming up in Wels that will delight not only those with a sweet tooth and coffee lovers. From November 15th to 17th, the Wels exhibition center will be transformed into a place full of culinary delights and creative inspiration with the upcoming cake and creative fair, which also includes the KaffeeWelt.
Visitors can look forward to an extensive program full of workshops, exciting stage performances and valuable tips from experts in baking and creative design. Renowned experts are available to share their knowledge and familiarize participants with their techniques.
The cake fair in detail
The cake fair is a true paradise for baking enthusiasts. With well-known personalities such as Bettina Schliephake-Burchardt from Betty's Sugardreams, Catrin Ferrari-Brunnenfeld and Raheem Haidar, sufficient expertise is ensured. In workshops, participants learn the latest trends and techniques in pastry making. The “Junior Baking Star” competition will be particularly exciting, where young talents can demonstrate their skills under the guidance of master pastry chef Brigitta Schickmaier. For the youngest visitors there is the “Children's Baking World”, where Christmas cookies are baked together with Catrin Ferrari, which can then be taken home.
Another focus of the fair is the “Totally regional bakery”, where the focus is on traditional Austrian baking. Here participants can also test their culinary skills and be inspired.
Creative fair and coffee world
At the same time, the creative fair opens its doors, which is an absolute must for DIY fans and craft enthusiasts. In the midst of various workshops, participants can let their creativity run wild and explore new upcycling techniques. There are two interesting markets taking place: the urban art and design market and the tailoring market, where innovative products from the areas of fashion, jewelry and lifestyle are offered.
The coffee world is not neglected either. Here, visitors gain exciting insights into the entire process surrounding the coffee bean - from cultivation to the preparation of the perfect coffee. A highlight is the Austria Coffee Championships, where baristas and roasters compete against each other in various categories. This event not only provides entertainment but also a networking opportunity for professionals and coffee lovers.
