Music talents from the Urfahr-Umung celebrate successes during final exams
Urfahr area. The outstanding achievements of the graduates of the Upper Austria became in a solemn setting. State music school works. A total of 203 pupils passed the final examination "Audit of Art" in 2024. As the highest level of training, this is a significant step in musical training.
Among the graduates are also twelve talented musicians from the Urfahr-Unde region who were honored during the ceremony in the Eferding Bräuhaus. Governor Thomas Stelzer expressed his recognition and congratulations to the young talents and praised the hard work and the commitment that flowed into these services.

The "Audit of Art" exam includes both theoretical and practical components. The theoretical knowledge is checked in a subject like music studies, while the practical exam is a 30-minute concert that is performed before a nationwide jury. It is fascinating to see that the age groups of graduates vary greatly: the youngest is only 15 years old, while the oldest graduate has an impressive 69 years.
A special aspect of this exam is the connection to the Austrian brass music association. For those graduates who work as a member of a music club, the "Audit of Art" at the same time represents the prerequisite for the achievement badge in gold. This means that many musicians not only receive academic but also practical recognition for their skills.
In the worthwhile, 117 out of 203 examples reached the golden honorary badge of the Austrian brass music association, which underlines the quality and level of services.
