Lions Club Bad Hall brings Christmas joy to families in need

There is a special initiative in Bad Hall this festive season that will benefit the region's needy families. As every year, the Bad Hall Lions Club specializes in giving joy and providing support in the run-up to Christmas.

This year, eight families with a total of 17 children and young people can benefit from the aid campaign. With the help of lovingly packaged gift boxes filled with food and useful everyday items, Lions Club members are committed to brightening up these families' everyday lives and increasing the anticipation of Christmas. Lions President Dominik Schickmair emphasizes how important it is for them to support the families in their area.

The Lions Club's Christmas campaign has been organized for many years in close cooperation with the child and youth welfare services of the Steyr-Land district. It is based on proceeds generated at the club's annual wine festival. “It is particularly important to us to support families in the region and thus reduce the pressure on parents,” explains Schickmair.

But the Lions' commitment doesn't just end with the popular Christmas campaign. As part of an information evening, Maria Riegl, head of child and youth welfare, received a donation of 1,000 euros. This amount makes a significant contribution to further promoting the valuable work with young families.
