Together on trips: highlights of the rural youth autumn conference in Laussa

At this year's autumn conference of the rural youth Steyr-Land in the Gasthaus Geiger in Laussa, it was looked back to an eventful year. Under the motto "Together on Travel", the members took part in an imaginary journey through the past few months, which was initiated by district manager Michael Wolfschwenger and his crew. The event offered a wonderful setting to appreciate the activities and success of the rural youth in the Steyr-Land district.

The year 2023/24 was peppered for the rural youth with numerous events that were enthusiastically perceived by many groups. The highlights included the district ball and the ZuaQ project, which appealed to many members. At every event it was noticeable with which passion the members presented their predominantly rural issues, which strengthened the close connection between the local groups.

In the middle of the celebrations, there was also a change of leadership. Michaela Postlmayr, who has honored herself as head of the rural youth in recent years, handed over the scepter to Simone Diwald. Together with Michael Wolfschwenger, who already acts as head, she will strengthen the team and help to plan the next steps for the rural youth. Simon Mayr as deputy director and agricultural consultant Maximilian Kraus now belong to the old crew of the rural youth.

The participants also celebrated the successes of the past year; Particularly noteworthy is the local group Aschach on the Steyr, which was able to record the most participations at the district cup and thus took first place. The proud members are already looking at the upcoming competitions- both at state and federal level.

Another highlight in the schedule will be the district ball on February 1st in the multi -purpose hall in Garsten, which is organized together with the farmers. Numerous registrations have already been received here, which underlines the great interest in this event.

For the rural youth Steyr-Land, the past year is a sign of cohesion and activity, and with fresh wind in the leadership there is now the possibility to stuck new goals and continue to grow together. Further details can be read at www.tips.at .
