Giantanstorm at the chess district championship in Rohrbach!
Rohrbach, Deutschland - on the Epiphany weekend, from 4th to January 6th, the chess district championship takes place in the Rohrbacher Schmellerhalle, organized by TSV Rohrbach. In six rounds, masters are determined in different categories such as master class I and II as well as in the areas of seniors, team, youth and women. The event is particularly important, since it is now held in Rohrbach for the fourth time and, according to Sebastian Mucke, the department head of the TSV, a record -breaking encouragement with 70 to 80 participants can be expected, which the largest number of participants could be in 25 years. Mucke is pleased about the positive development of the tournament, which attracts more and more players due to numerous measures to increase attractiveness since the last championship in 2019. The championship is also open to players who are not organized in clubs in the Ingolstadt/Freising chess district, such as Heimatsport.de reported.
A few days earlier, a gripping indoor football tournament of TSV Rohrbach took place, in which the district league team finally managed to conquer the "invincible" TSV Jetzendorf with 4: 2. In an exciting final, Guido Kempf and Benni Dincli, who went home with a total of seven goals, went home as a top scorer. Coach Andreas Wörl praised his team's performance and made it clear that even if Jetzendorf did not appear as usual, the victory was deserved. The entire event was very well received by the audience, and the spectators were able to look forward to exciting games. Dieter Sperrer, the second football department head, was satisfied with the excellent atmosphere during the tournament, in which the Rohrbach II team also launched the semi-finals. The entire event was well attended by the spectators until the award ceremony, which underlines the high attractiveness of the tournament, as Donauurier.deDetails | |
