Angelika Preining: A way of life after the accident - help to independence

In 2018, Angelika Preining's life from Rohrbach-Berg was completely turned upside down by a tragic car accident. The 25-year-old suffered serious injuries in this incident and fell into a wax coma, which led to numerous hospital and rehabilitation stays. Despite all efforts, Angelika's everyday life is no longer the same. Today she is unable to speak or go independently and needs the support of her mother, Maria Preining for everyday activities.

that is denied that Angelika is denied, but she tries to communicate in her own way. She gives sounds, but these are not enough to make themselves understandable. For body hygiene and many other basic tasks, she is dependent on the help of her mother. To support Angelika, a walking aid, a so -called "Tro Taurus", was purchased, which should help her to learn to go again.

Financial support for therapies required

Maria Preining describes the challenges with which she is confronted: "We live from my small pension and care allowance of Geli. Exceptional projects or expenses have therefore been extremely difficult to implement." In order to enable her daughter to have Adeli therapy in Slovakia, she hopes for financial support. "This is not about me, it's about Angelika. She is dependent on help and therapies for the rest of her life," she explains.

The association district Rundschau Christkind is committed to Angelika's concerns and has launched a fundraiser. Every contribution counts and can make a difference in Angelika's life. Numberes are available in the Raiffeisen banks, and by using a QR code, donations can be made directly via the bank app. In addition, the amount is automatically taken into account in the tax compensation if the intended use is correctly specified: "District Rohrbach" and the personal data of the donor.
