First Inn Pride regulars' table in Ried: A successful start
At the end of last month a remarkable event took place in Ried im Innkreis: the first “Inn Pride regulars’ table” in KiK Ried. This gathering aimed to strengthen the local LGBTQ+ community and promote exchange among each other. The event has already attracted many interested participants who were looking forward to a lively exchange and exciting discussions.
The organizers reported a positive atmosphere created by the meetings and discussions. Participants were unanimous about the success of the event and highlighted the importance of creating a space in which everyone can feel accepted and comfortable. The openness and the opportunity to share one's own experiences were particularly valued by those present.
Looking forward to the next event
A few days after the first get-together, the organizers announced the next date for the meeting. In just one week, participants will gather again to discuss current issues, challenges and successes within the LGBT community. These regular meetings are intended to help increase awareness and visibility of community concerns in the region.
The first “Inn Pride regulars’ table” documents not only the desire for exchange, but also the increasing visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in the city. This is a positive step towards a diverse and inclusive society where every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, has a place.
The significant topics discussed at such meetings range from social challenges to ways to support the community. Many hope that such important platforms will also be adopted in other cities to create a more comprehensive network.
In future editions, we will continue to follow developments surrounding these events and capture the voices of participants. More information can be found at www.meinbezirk.at.
