Certificates for healthy crawling rooms in the district of Perg
In Upper Austria there was recently a gratifying news for the crawling rooms in the district of Perg. The Krabbelstube Baumgartenberg and the municipal crafting Münzbach were awarded the title "Healthy Crawling Stube". This award is part of a larger project that aims to strengthen health promotion for the little ones in the region. The ceremony recently took place in Linz, where a total of 24 crawling rooms and 11 kindergartens received the coveted award.
Governor Deputy and Education and Health Councilor Christine Haberlander commented on the successes: "The quality of education in the early years is essential, and it is great to see that so many facilities take part in this program." With this award, about 60 percent of kindergartens in Upper Austria receive the title "Healthy Kindergarten", while 47 crawling rooms are considered qualified.
focus on health and education
The approach behind the award is quite simple, but effective: it is about inspiring children at an early age for healthy eating and movement. "Healthy nutrition and joy of movement are important for a healthy life, and the foundation stone should be laid in infancy," says Haberlander. Health promotion not only extends to food behavior, but also includes psychosocial aspects and daily movement.
A total of 434 kindergartens and 133 crawling rooms take part in this funding program, which supports the development of healthy lifestyles for preschoolers. 17 kindergartens and 8 crawling rooms are actively involved in the Perg district. These facilities are not only for raising children to educate children, but also clarify parents and caregivers about the importance of healthy lifestyle.
intensive cooperation between the participants
The certified crawling rooms have invested a lot of work in the fulfillment of the quality criteria of the health network in the past three years. In order to obtain the title "Healthy Crawling", the facilities have to prove that they do a holistic and quality -oriented educational work. Teams from educators, providers and catering companies work closely together to create an environment in which children can playfully learn the basics for a healthy life.
The focus in these facilities is on various aspects of health, including varied nutrition, regular exercise offers and the promotion of psychosocial health. These programs ensure that children are not only physically active, but are also supported emotionally and socially well.
The award represents an important confirmation of their work for everyone involved and is a motivating sign for the municipalities in the district of Perg. Information on the participating institutions and their programs can be expected in the near future in order to clarify even more parents and children about the advantages of "healthy crawling".
