Borg Perg: Successfully defended national championship title in volleyball!

It is not an easy task to stay at the top, especially when you consider that the competition is getting bigger and bigger. On November 21, the volleyball national championship took place in the Auhof grammar school, in which the newly formed women's team of the BORG PERG took part. She competed as an undefeated group winner and had to compete in the intermediate round against strong opponents such as the Peuerbach-Gymnasium, the BBS Rohrbach and the HAK Traun. With an impressive team performance and a positive attitude, they won all three games and thus qualified for the semi -finals in which they defeated the BRG Rohrbach with 15: 9, and thus moved into the final.

exciting final

The Peuerbach-Gymnasium, an opponent that the Borg Perg had clearly defeated in the course of the tournament, waited in the final. But here the game was not as expected. The first sentence went to the Borg-Perg volleys, but the second sentence developed into a real thriller. The spectators held their breath away when the team was able to defend the title with a wafer -thin 15:13, which led to a big cheer.

The trainer Professor Sabine Hoschek, supported by athletic coach Niklas Etlinger and Professor Lydia Trauner, emphasized the important role of team spirit and constant game performance. "The good services, the constant and focused game and team spirit finally brought our girls the national championship title," she said.
