Strong network for security: G6 bridge talks in Traun
A major Red Cross event known as the annual “G6 Bridge Talk” took place in Traun on November 18th. At this meeting, mayors and leaders of blue light organizations from six surrounding communities come together to discuss important issues and challenges. Trivest AG was the host this year and made its premises available.
Representatives from various municipalities were present, including Mayor Karl-Heinz Koll of Traun, as well as his counterparts Markus Hofko from Pasching and Thomas Altof from Pucking. The guests also included high-ranking members of the security authorities such as Chief Inspector Thomas Schmolz from the district police command, Commander Oskar Reitberger from the Traun fire department and local branch manager René Wanko from the water rescue department. Paul Reinthaler, the district manager of the Red Cross, was also present and took an active part in the discussions.
Insights and exchange
The event also included a presentation by Executive Director Marcell Nedelko, who gave exciting insights into Trivest AG's innovative strength. This information was not only informative, but also stimulated many questions and discussions. The pleasant atmosphere enabled those present to deepen old contacts and make new acquaintances.
A central goal of the “G6 bridge talks” is to strengthen cooperation between communities and emergency services. Such meetings are essential in order to be able to communicate well and cooperate in an emergency. The exchange not only promotes networking between the actors, but also contributes to the security of the entire region, which is of utmost importance at a time of increasing challenges in emergency care.
