The anticipation was tangible when the first edition of the new magazine "Seven" was presented. In keeping with the pre -Christmas season and the beginning of the new church year, numerous guests were able to take a look at the freshly printed specimens. A total of 15,000 expenses were distributed by motivated volunteers in the mailboxes of the seven local churches in the coming days. This new magazine replaces the previous parish letters and is intended to bring the community even more closely together.
Eva-Marie Fischer, one of the editorial members from Eckerde, was enthusiastic about the successful design: "The booklet has become really nice. The colors get through much better in print". During the meeting in Kirchdorf, some members expressed that some adjustments could be made in the layout to optimize the information intake. Nevertheless, proud and positive voices prevailed that underlined the importance of this new product for the overall church community in Barsinghausen.
a sign of the community
In this context,Pastor Jürgen Holly spoke of an “external sign of the inner community”, which was symbolized by the founding of the entire church community in Barsinghausen on January 1, 2024. The decision to work in A4 format was deliberately made to create a clear difference to the old parish letters. Pastor Uta Junginger emphasized that the new issue is characterized by the diverse contributions by full-time and volunteers.
The creative design of the magazine was taken over by the graphic artist Michaela Hirschhausen from Wennigsen. Tabea Hecking, the managing director, ensured that texts and advertisements in the issue were well coordinated. In order to give readers the opportunity to give feedback or ask questions, a special email address has been set up: seven.barsinghausen@evlka.de. “Seven” will appear four times a year in the future and thus strengthen communication within the parishes.
