Food transport to Ukraine: Help!

Food transport to Ukraine: Help!

The Kamillian family of Austria has launched an important initiative to support people in the Transkota region of Ukraine. The transport is headed by Karl Bloderer from Oberschlierbach, who takes care of the organization with full commitment. The aim of this campaign is to provide urgently needed food for the people in Ukraine, Romania and Slovakia, which are very affected by the current situation.

The fundraising campaign, which runs until Thursday, December 12th, calls for durable foods such as flour, sugar, rice, noodles, sweets for children and toilet articles at Caritas in Kirchdorf. These donations can be submitted on Mondays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The additional distribution of the peace light is a symbolic act that should convey hope and community to the donors and recipients.

call to support

The Kamillian family organized this transport to relieve the emergency situations that many people experience due to the continuing conflict and economic challenges. The food collected should not only cover the basic needs of the affected people, but also a sign of solidarity and compassion. It is a way for people here to actively help and to stand by those who live in difficult circumstances.

The organization appeals to the citizens to participate in this important campaign. Each donation counts and can improve people's lives in need. Cooperation with Caritas makes it easy for the donors to show their support. We are all asked to be part of this movement that brings help and hope into one of the most endangered regions in Europe.
