Alpine magic in the Alpineum: Michael Zacek inspires with new works

HINTSTODER. A very special exhibition has opened its doors at the Alpineum in Hinterstoder. Michael Zacek, a talented artist from Graz, presented his works under the title “Alpine Moments”. This painting draws exciting parallels to the famous Alpine motifs by the historical painter E. T. Compton. Zacek focused on the beauty of the Alps, particularly the Totes Gebirge, and captured this in stunning images.

The vernissage was attended by a large number of art-interested visitors who were inspired by the passion and wealth of detail of the works. Zacek's images follow in the footsteps of Compton, who impressively interpreted the Stoderau mountain world over 100 years ago. In many of his paintings you can see the inspiration from the loving depiction of natural beauty, which continues to appeal to nature lovers.

Opening times and guided tours

This more worthwhile exhibition is open to the public until June 1, 2025. The opening times are from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you want a more intensive experience, you can take guided tours by prior registration.
