Mardi Gras in Peuerbach: Rathaussturm and happy reign
In the small town of Peuerbach, the happy carnival period begins with an exciting spectacle. The carnival fools stormed the town hall and the new carnival prince couple, Kerstin von Weinstein and Hanspeter from Dach and Heizhausen, took over the symbolic reign. The two were seen in the traditional colors red, blue and white when they played their position.
The town hall storm is an integral part of the carnival season in Peuerbach and always attracts numerous spectators. Mayor Roland Schauer was willingly and, after the storm, handed over the town hall key to the freshly chosen prince couple. Kerstin Glöckl-Steininger and Hanspeter Meissl, the bourgeois names of the prince couple, proudly represent the star farms Peuerbach. They accepted the key with a smile and assured that they can rule the city in the spirit of joy and community. The mayor wished the new rulers every success and emphasized that they should keep the key well.
