Ceremonial opening: Sole rocks world in Gmünd presents new highlights

gmünd. The Sole Felsen Welt in Gmünd has successfully completed its extensive renovation work on the bathroom and hotel and is now celebrating the large reopening after a seven -month construction phase.

In May this year, the ambitious major project began, which was to turn the outer facade of the Sole Felsen Hotel. The previous green/orange paint was replaced by a stylish wood-slamelle look, underlaid with an elegant dark gray. In addition, 14 rooms were equipped with new balconies, which should offer guests an even more pleasant vacation feeling. The Sole Felsen Bad itself also received an update in which the brine relax lagoon was modernized. This now includes a stainless steel pool with a larger water surface and various massage offers, whereby the new attractions have been accessible to bathers since July 1, 2023.

In order to celebrate the successful completion of the extensive renovations, an opening ceremony took place in the Sole Felsen Hotel. VIPS, press representative and the Gmünd city chapel were present to honor the new appearance of the hotel. The managing directors Marcus Steinhart and Bernhard Strohmeier were pleased with the results and the smooth running of the project.

The feedback from visitors is overwhelmingly positive. In particular, the renovation of the outdoor pool and the new balconies, which many regular guests had been wanting, are praised. The hotel facade itself has left a lasting impression. "Our former facade was nothing that will be remembered. With the current facade, I am sure: Once you have seen it, it remains positive in memory," explained Managing Director Bernhard Strohmeier.

The work in the Sole rock world has not yet been completed. There is already a new project for the summer of 2025: A seasonal outdoor cocktail bar should help to further intensify the holiday feeling in the Waldviertel. These new plans underline the tireless efforts of the team, the Sole rock world, which is considered the most popular thermal bath in Austria, to always improve and to lift the next level of well -being.
