Successful school start: HAK and HTL Freistadt strengthen class community
FREISTADT. The start of school is an exciting, but also challenging time for many students. This applies in particular to the first graders of the Commercial Academy (HAK) and the higher technical educational institution (HTL) Freistadt, which have already formed a solid class community after the first six weeks. In order to make the newcomers as easy as possible, the school year started with a special introductory phase.
This two -week phase was designed to give the new students first in the first look into everyday school life and to promote cooperation. A very special highlight was a common hike that culminated in a cozy pizza picnic. Such activities are crucial to strengthen the group feeling and encourage the students to familiarize themselves as quickly as possible.
successes at the HAK Sales Challenge
The community at the HAK is active and committed. An exciting event was the participation of a team of six students of the fifth year on the HAK Sales Challenge in the Raiffeisen Arena in Linz. A total of 18 teams from various HAK schools in Upper Austria met. This competitive situation enabled the participating students to gain experience in the sales area and to gain valuable insights into the requirements of professional life.
The HAK and HTL Freistadt show how important a well -structured start to the school year is to not only promote students academically but also socially. Such initiatives are important to take the fear of the unknown to the students and to support them in finding their own place in the school community. The first impressions indicate that the new vintages have great potential and work towards a successful school year.
