Ranshofen celebrates success at the autumn tournament: Local riders shine
Ranshofen. The Ranshofen autumn tour has brought a brilliant result for the Hofinger riding club this year! After an exciting second tournament weekend, the domestic riders can boast nine excellent placements.
For three days, an impressive number of riders from more than a dozen nations competed against each other to fight for victory in 45 exciting competitions. Particularly noteworthy are the achievements of the Ranshofner Reiter Jürgen Krackow and Regina Jilge, who impressed with their young horses.
Successful appearances by the Ranshofner Reiter
Jürgen Krackow and his Holsteiner Schimmel mare Neytiri scored in two young horse tests over 125 cm and secured the first places. Regina Jilge followed him with two first places by her pony mare Doonaveeragh Vicky and also showed her class with a fifth place in a show jumping test over 115 cm.
The team from Ranshofen also showed its strength in the open exams: Nora Punz achieved first place in the entrance jumping test over 95 cm with Katelyn S, while Lisa Hofinger took second place with CC Coralie in the standard jumping test over 125 cm. Jürgen Krackow also showed his skills and with Hedwig reached 11th place in an exam over 130 cm. Regina Jilge rounded off the strong results of the team with an 11th place in an exam over 140 cm.
Highlight of the event
The highlight of the tournament was the main competition on Sunday, which took place over 140 cm. Here the Luxembourg Basile Bettendorf, which rode with his horse Captain Foxx, prevailed as the winner. Furthermore, the Briton Christopher Frazer took second place with Cidre, followed by the Salzburg woman Antonia Weixelbraun with a chaloubet in third place.
The highlights of the autumn tour will be shown in the final, which will take place all around on the weekend from 11 to 13 October.
