Martin Weiß: Creative instructor who designs the future of the apprentices
Martin Weiß, an experienced apprentice trainer from Tarsdorf, is characterized by his over 20 years of work in the Braunau training center (ABF). In the modern training workshops of the ABF, apprentices of many companies, including Amag, Borbet and Hai, are prepared for their future as specialists.
As a master in mechanical engineering and construction technology, Weiß teaches apprentices in the area of CNC, CAD/CAM. These professions require knowledge of cutting technology and computer -aided drawing and programming. In order to become a trainer in this area, he not only needs completed vocational training, but also a pedagogical qualification. "I took part in a multi -month course for the qualified apprentice instructor," he explains.
The challenge of training
One of the greatest challenges in training sees Weiß in keeping the young people motivated and interested. "The training has to be designed varied, you have to 'pace' long -distance pretense, as other, otherwise interest can quickly disappear," says the instructor. This passion and challenge that he has been taking for over two decades has caused him to find creative solutions for the lessons.
What knows especially about his work are the freedoms that are granted to him as instructors. "I like to be creative and come up with a lot," he says. With this approach, he develops new workpieces that are given the apprentices as tasks. These creative elements not only provide variety, but also make the job extremely exciting because it can work independently.
