UPS EPS Groß Gerungs donates 2,000 euros for flood victims!

Zwettl, Österreich - In an impressive campaign, the Football Association UPS EPS Groß Gerungs transferred 1,500 euros to the donation account "We help". This generous donation comes as a result of the devastating flood events, which many families in Zwettl and the surrounding area have seriously affected, such as Manfred Atteneder had already expressed the idea in September at the home game against Admira Gföhl to donate instead of donating. The response exceeded all expectations: instead of the hoped -for sum, a total of 1,872 euros came together, which were then increased.

Important help for those affected

The fundraising campaign was initiated by the UPS EPS Groß Gerungs in order to be a small light of hope for the affected households during this difficult time. Already in October a first transfer of 500 euros to the Husam family from Zwettl was made. This shows the commitment of the association to help specifically. The symbolic check was presented on November 6th in the Mein district of Lower Austria in the editorial office. Atteneder expressed hope that the donation had a positive impact on those affected and wished everyone a nice Christmas despite the adverse circumstances. The special campaign illustrates solidarity within the football community, which is together in times of crisis, as can be seen on the club website of the USV EPS Groß Gerungs.
