New production and office building in Groß Siegharts: Future of Aviation
In Groß Siegharts, Test-Fuchs Aerospace Systems GmbH has set the course for significant expansion. The construction of a new company building that will be equipped with the latest technology has already started in mid -September. Cooperation with the Leyrer+Graf Baugesellschaft gives the project additional momentum, as both companies look back on a long -term partnership.
The planned building will extend over an area of 4,400 m² and offers space for production and office units, including specialized areas such as test fields and a clean room. Volker Fuchs, Managing Director of Test-Fuchs, emphasizes the importance of this expansion: "In order to successfully position high-technological products in the aviation industry, we need a high-quality infrastructure." In view of the planned completion until December 2025, the development in the Waldviertel will show considerable progress in the next 15 months.
Details on the construction project
The new building is designed with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. An impressive mix of office and logistics areas on the ground floor and the first floor ensures optimal working conditions. The planned construction measures include the excavation of 10,000 m³ of earth, the use of 3,500 m³ of prefabricated concrete and 450 concrete shake columns as a depth foundation. On the ground floor, the production area will include around 1,400 m², while the same size is intended for production on the upper floor. There are also office space of 1,200 m² on the second floor.
The investment in the new premises comes at a time when test fox has established itself in the aviation industry and made significant progress in component technology. Michael Schilling, the department head for hydrogen and space programs, emphasizes that the company "wants to create optimal conditions in order to develop sustainable products for the aviation industry".
The existing infrastructure increasingly showed bottlenecks, which impaired the efficiency of the processes. According to Michael Rohrbeck, the head of the Aerospace programs, the new building will make it possible to make the work even more efficient. The engagement in research and development remains a central component of the corporate strategy in order to continue to remain competitive as a leading provider in the aerospace industry.
The long -term cooperation with Leyrer+Graf is seen as a foundation for the success of the new project project. In the past, numerous construction projects have been implemented together. This also includes the recently built operating restaurant "Schreiber’s", which offers employees modern, inviting rooms for mutual meals. The innovative design of the restaurant, which is reminiscent of aircraft spaces, reflects the connection to the aviation sector and has been valued by the employees since the summer of 2024.
In summary, it can be said that the construction of the new company building for Test-Fuchs in Groß Siegharts is not only a significant step into the future of the company, but is also an important contribution to the further development of the regional aviation industry. The complete construction project will offer a variety of state -of -the -art space that are geared towards the needs of a growing and innovative company.
