Use of the fire brigade Tulln-Stadt: No trace of the missing resident

On October 25, 2024, the Tulln-Stadt volunteer fire brigade received an alarm, which called for a door opening with the suspicion of an accident. This happened on the initiative of a concerned neighbor who hadn't heard from a resident for some time and whose mailbox has already been overflowed.

After the rescue workers arrived, it was acted immediately. In order to get to the apartment on the first floor, the firefighters used a turntable ladder to raise the executive officers. This initiative was within the usual security protocols that ensure that the resident is not in trouble. After a thorough examination of the apartment by the police, however, the all -clear could be given: the resident was not present and there was no clue to an accident.

Settings forces

Several groups were involved in the deployment. The Tulln-Stadt volunteer fire brigade was active with an aid vehicle (tank 2) and the turntable ladder, occupied by a total of six members. The Tulln police and the emergency services were also on site, which emphasizes the high priority of the security situation in which every minute counts.

The fast and coordinated reaction of the emergency services shows how important neighborhood aid and well -organized emergency services are. This event reminds us that attentive neighbors are able to raise the alarm in good time and to avoid worse consequences. The population is encouraged not to hesitate to inform the responsible bodies in case of doubt.
