In the Tulln Garden Show, which is known as the first purely ecological garden show in Europe, the season is being extended due to high demand. Instead of closing on October 26th as planned, management has decided to keep the doors open for another day, until October 27th. This decision reflects the continued interest shown by many visitors in the model gardens, the informative events and the recreational opportunities at the garden show.
Franz Gruber, the managing director of the garden show, said: "The past few months have once again shown that the combination of ecological topics and a varied leisure program appeals to many people. We are pleased to end the 2024 season with this additional day and to be able to welcome many visitors again." The colorful program engages both environmentally conscious gardeners and families who want to spend a beautiful day in nature.
End of the season with culinary highlights
In the Gaumenweide restaurant, which is part of the garden show, a large “Kehraus buffet” takes place at the end of the season. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy a full menu including soup, main course and dessert for 19.50 euros, while stocks last. This is the perfect opportunity to fortify yourself after a tour through the botanical diversity.
The last day of opening offers the opportunity to be inspired, be it by taking a tour of the diverse model gardens or simply taking a leisurely walk. Anyone interested can experience the diversity of nature from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the garden show’s social media channels, as well as on the official website www.diegartentulln.at, new information, promotions and events are constantly being provided.
