MINT offensive in St. Pölten: Artificial intelligence in focus
The Letto Mint offensive will take place again in St. Pölten this year and promises an exciting program. More than 100 participants are registered to deal with the topics of MINT subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology), artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital Matura. This initiative attracts various educational actors, including apprenticeship training and speakers from adult education.
The offensive will be held for the fourth time, this time from October 9th to 11th in the Raiffeisen Corner in St. Pölten. It is a three -day training course in which the participants can attend special seminars. This includes "Letto use in the class of vocational schools", a basic course and an expert course. The latter enables the participants to demonstrate various teacher results and tasks from the MINT area and to discuss initial findings on the digital letto-matura and the use of AI.
seminars and workshops
The seminars offered are designed to offer teachers new perspectives and tools for teaching. Up to 100 participants come together from various educational institutions to exchange ideas about innovative approaches in the MINT area. The event is organized by the Lower Austrian University of Education and also includes evening events for the networking of teachers and representatives of the economy.
Letto, a learning tool developed by HTL teachers in St. Pölten, is the focus of the activities. This tool helps to make lessons more effective and is an important part of the training. It enables teachers to learn new methods and to integrate them directly into their lessons.
The MINT offensive has now developed into an important platform that not only promotes interest in natural sciences and technology, but also contributes to training and supporting teachers in these subjects. In times when digital skills are becoming increasingly important, the focus is also on how to integrate artificial intelligence and digital formats into the classroom.
The aim of the offensive is to strengthen MINT subjects in the educational institutions and to promote the integration of modern technologies and teaching methods. The St. Pölten region is therefore dedicated to the MINT formation for three days and becomes the central point of contact for teachers who want to continue their training in the field of digital education.
