Marie Wolf: Violation overshadows the comeback of her talent
The autumn season has started with a full program, but the two national champions of the past season, Marie and Martin Wolf, experience a challenging start to the season. While Martin, 18 years old, is in intensive relaxation after a shoulder operation in June, his sister Marie, 20, cannot take part in the upcoming competitions due to health complaints that manifested at the beginning of the season.
Martin Wolf is busy with daily physiotherapy and regular training after his operation. His goal is to celebrate a comeback in the highest international competition class Elite in 2025. This comeback is to be celebrated by a strong performance, and Martin spends a lot of time to prepare for his return.
Marie’s injury and challenges
Marie Wolf, on the other hand, has prepared for the national championships in the gymnastics that take place on the first weekend in November. Her training was specifically geared towards the devices. But shortly before the competition, the unexpected turn came. Pain in the heel and Achilles tendon area meant that it could not even occur. The planned competition for title defense had to be canceled. This situation is a special challenge for Marie because she had to reconcile her studies and training.
Although the siblings Wolf are currently not in the position of actively participating in competitions, it remains to be hoped that they will soon have the opportunity to pursue their passion for gymnastics again. The support of your club, the Union St. Pölten, and the motivation to recover you are driving your goals.
The violation of Marie and the challenges that Martin has to overcome show how quickly the circumstances in sport can change. As an audience, we are eagerly awaiting your return to the competitions.
