After the St. Pölten State Office School was hit by devastating floods in autumn 2024, the school community shows incredible cohesion and commitment. Due to the massive damage, school operations were only possible for four weeks via distance learning, and the student dormitory was even closed for eight weeks. In the middle of these challenges, the “Day of the Apprentice” also took place in the Heiligenkreuz Abbey, in which 20 hairdressing apprentices of the first and second classes of LBS St. Pölten took part. Under the direction of the religion teacher Andreas Schreiber and Josef Gruber, the apprentices took part in an exciting puzzle ralley on May 23 and closed the day with a joint service in the collegiate church.
