Creepy stories and adventures: Christoph Mauz inspires Wullersdorf

In Wullersdorf there was an exciting reading event for the students of the elementary school, organized by the Lower Austria literary house. The author Christoph Mauz, known for his entertaining and creepy stories, appeared and delighted the fourth graders with excerpts from his popular books.

As part of the "The Land Reads" initiative, which is organized in cooperation with the Treffpunkt library and archive of contemporaries, the children were tied up by Mauz’s captivating stories. Among other things, read from the titles "at night when the ghosts creep", "Emma-a girl like dynamite" and "Monster-Mania". These stories brought joy and a little thrill to the schoolchairs, perfectly tailored to the imagination of the young listeners.

Christoph Mauz is a versatile artist. In addition to his work as a children's book author, he is also a trained speaker and interpreter, and has connections to the cabaret and theater scene. He also writes dialect poetry for adults and is active as a singer and actor. Since 2015 he has been directing the artistic fortunes of the “Kijubu” literary festival in St. Pölten.
