Fest of the encounter: Celebrate cultural diversity on the Traisenstrand

After a three -year interruption, the festival of encounter in St. Pölten returns. This year the state capital celebrates under the motto "Mit anem on the Traisenstrand" on the national holiday. The event is a tribute to the city's cultural diversity and takes place in the new framework on the Traisen and in the government district.

"We want to continue the tradition of cultivating cultures," explains Harald Ludwig, who heads the initiative. In recent years, the festival was paused due to all sorts of circumstances in the city, but the organizers are determined to celebrate the community of different cultures in St. Pölten. "Because this diversity contributes to a good cooperation and is an essential part of our city," adds Ludwig.

During the festival, visitors can expect numerous activities that reflect both the local and international culture. Various performances, culinary delights and activities for children offer a platform for everyone to participate and learn from/on each other.

The event is not only seen as celebrations under the red-white-red flag, but also as an opportunity to promote awareness of cultural diversity. "Many people from different countries of origin live in St. Pölten, and it is important to honor these cultural contributions," emphasizes Ludwig.

The return of the festival offers a valuable way to strengthen social cohesion in the region and to promote understanding between cultures. The generous preparations of the city administration and the active citizens show the commitment of the community for a harmonious coexistence.

With great anticipation, both residents and visitors look at the event and actively participate in the planning. "We are a nation," Ludwig is convinced and underlines the spirit of the festival, which is all about community and mutual respect. The exact process and further details are still announced, but the mood is already full of positive expectation.
