There could even be snow at high altitudes over 600 meters. The temperatures fluctuate between four and eight degrees, while there are frosty two to four degrees in the mountains.

The night of Monday brings icy temperatures between three and one degree. Attention drivers! Smooth streets, especially in the mountains, are a serious danger. The first snow is just around the corner!

On Wednesday it could finally be ready: The DWD predicts shiver -like rain or snow, and the first snow could fall in higher altitudes! Marcel Herber from the ARD weather competence center explains that snow is possible in the Hochwald. Despite the warm floors, everyone who is traveling at high altitudes from 400 to 500 meters should adapt to winter road conditions. The temperatures on Wednesday only reach two to six degrees, and in the mountains it could even be freezing.

The first Christmas markets could therefore be opened with a white surprise! In the night of Thursday it gets quieter and the precipitation decreases. The snow and snow could take off on Friday, and maybe even the sun will be back in the sky!
