Neunkirchen: 50 Bulgarians besiege the police station after conflict with Syrians!
Neunkirchen, Deutschland - A dramatic incident shakes Neunkirchen! Around 50 people of Bulgarian origin besieged the police inspection on Monday evening (November 11, 2024) to clarify a conflict with an equally large Syrian group. The situation was tense after disputes between these groups had repeatedly occurred in the weeks before. The last dispute escalated on Saturday evening at the Globus market, where at least two young people were injured-a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old. The investigation is still running!
The arrival of the crowd at the police station led to a massive police operation. The officers were alerted because the situation was difficult to estimate. Further surgical forces were requested to support control over the situation. The first criminal proceedings have already been initiated to clarify the incidents and to hold those responsible.
Mayor expresses
Mayor Jörg Aumann also spoke up and emphasized that everyone who comes to Neunkirchen had to adhere to the applicable norms. "Where people come together, conflicts can arise," said the SPD politician. He welcomed the fact that the group had been looking for the way to the police, but warned that a simple message should not end in a large -scale operation. Aumann demanded more sensitivity from the authorities and made it clear: "Rules apply to everyone." In addition, he renewed his demand to the state government to make the distribution of refugees more fairly in order to improve the situation in the long term.
