Before the district administration in Neunkirchen, something exciting is happening: The previously gray and paved parking space is converted into a green area that not only shows optically but also ecologically a step forward. "The area currently almost exclusively paved should be redesigned in such a way that we can plant more green and more trees," explains district chief Alexandra Grabner-Fritz. This is particularly important because the south side of the district administration is often exposed to strong heat effects.

The project not only brings with it a redesign of the parking lot, but also an optical refreshing of the facade of the district administration.
