Autumnal reading freewen: Neunkirchen celebrates the Austria read week
The city library Neunkirchen is preparing for the "Austria reads" week, which takes place from October 19 to 25. In keeping with the autumn harvest time, the library deals with the annual theme "seed library". In order to celebrate these special days properly, various events are organized that invite bookworms and books to participate.
In a nice gesture, everyone who borrowed books in the city library as a small thank you is a fruit gift. This campaign not only promotes reading, but also the appreciation of regional products. It starts on the first Saturday the book flea market, which takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Here can be discovered and discovered to your heart's content in a variety of books.
Special events await
Another Highlight is the lecture "From fruit to the juice", which will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 6:30 p.m. Organized by the popular company Mohr-Sederl, this lecture shows how freshly harvested fruit is obtained from tasty juice-including a small tasting for those present.
For younger visitors, an exciting program will be offered on Thursday, October 24th. The reading godmother Eveline invites you to a hands -on reading at 3:30 p.m., which is aimed at children from the age of five. This revolves around the topic of fruit and the harvest. On the last day of the campaign week, October 25th, a reading from the talented author Fanny Svoboda is on the scene. She will read from her crime novel "apricot dumplings", a story that will captivate crime fans.
Immediately after the reading, the participants can also expect a culinary highlight: apricot dumplings, prepared by "cooking commissioner" Mario Mosinzer, are waiting for the guests. Entry to all events is free of charge, which makes this a wonderful opportunity for the community to experience library and reading culture up close.
Not only in Neunkirchen is all about books. There are also exciting events in the neighboring towns of Gloggnitz and Ternitz. In Gloggnitz, an animal fellow power theater entitled "Our Colorful Zoo" for children from two years will be listed on October 23 at 4 p.m. Ternitz, on the other hand, invites you to a reading for children with the author Edith Zauner on Friday, October 25, at 3 p.m.
