Construction work causes train cancellations: rail replacement service in sight!
On Thursday, November 14th, 2024, regional traffic between Neunkirchen and Saarbrücken will be affected by massive restrictions! The reason is urgent maintenance work by DB InfraGo, which is causing two connections on the RB 73 to fail. A replacement rail service with buses will be set up for the affected passengers in order to alleviate some of the inconvenience.
But that's not all! The departure time of the RE 3 from Saarbrücken to Frankfurt will also be changed: the train will leave the station at 9:49 p.m., two minutes earlier than usual. Interestingly, it reaches Neunkirchen just a few minutes later than stated in the regular timetable. However, travelers have to forego the stop in Ottweiler - an unexpected turn of events for commuters!
