The autumn concert in Ladendorf: a festival of music and honors

The Musikverein Ladendorf and the Choir Ladendorf invited to their traditional autumn concert on Saturday evening, which took place in the ballroom of the community center. The event motto "great music and moving honors" was once again fully fulfilled. Many visitors came to experience the impressive performances and the honor of long -standing members of the association.

At the beginning of the concert, the wind skids, the young orchestra of the music association, delighted with a selection of four varied music pieces. Youth leader Andi Weißböck described the musicians as "a colorful bunch" who make music with great joy and talent. Her appearance received great applause, which impressively demonstrated the potential of the young musicians.

The sonorous performance of the choir

After the young musicians appeared, the Chor Ladendorf took over the stage, which was under the direction of Yvonne Wimmer. They presented soulful songs such as "You have to go over seven bridges" and "Like a Wüd’s Wossa", who deeply touched the audience. The harmonious voices and the expressiveness of the choir were another highlight of the evening.

Afterwards, the almost 50-member orchestra of the music association appeared. Under the leadership of Norbert Schmiedbauer, the musicians fascinated the audience with "So beautiful is the brass music", followed by two demanding scores in category C. These pieces are listed in an upcoming concert music rating. Schmiedbauer reported proudly about the progress of the orchestra and the decision to compete in higher categories.

honors for deserved members

An important part of the evening was the honors for special achievements. Sigrid Rarehammer was awarded for 15 years of committed membership. Kapellmeister Norbert Schmiedbauer received an honor for the successful completion of his conductor course B and the acquisition of the silver badge. In addition, seven other members were able to successfully complete their musicians. Chairman Joe Mayer underlined the importance of these further training and their influence on the level of musical groups.

The concert culminated with a happy hit medley that encouraged the audience to clap and sing along. After two inspiring encores, the Musikverein said goodbye with stormy applause, which again illustrated the musical diversity and the high quality of both ensembles in Ladendorf.
